Darrel Reid

As Vice President of Public Affairs leading PCA’s Federal & Western Canada advocacy, Darrel’s experience strengthens PCA’s policy, advocacy, and government relations. He has served as Policy Director and Deputy Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Chief of Staff to Ministers Rona Ambrose and Jason Kenney. During the Reform years, he was Chief of Staff to Preston Manning.

He holds M.A. and M.L.S. degrees from Toronto and a Ph.D. from Queen’s.

Darrel enjoys cooking for his wife Barb, mountain biking, motorcycling anywhere, anytime, and skiing with his grandsons in the Rocky Mountains - the best mountains in the world!
