Jason Tucker
Jason’s knowledge and experience in politics, the Canadian industrial construction and oil & gas sectors provide him with the background required to astutely understand the complicated nuances of the federal government. It is this unique experience that Jason brings to his work representing our members’ interests at the Federal level.
Prior to joining the PCA team, Jason spent five years on Parliament Hill. Primarily, he served as Director of Policy to MP Ben Lobb, providing policy advice and taking the lead on critical files including privacy, cryptocurrency, and the federal government’s digital transition. Before entering the political realm, Jason spent several years doing industrial QA/QC in oil & gas and the coatings industry. Additionally, he was a leader at an industrial sales company, working closely with his clients to address complex problems in the coatings industry. Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Brock University and a master’s degree in political management from Carleton University.
In his personal time, Jason is an avid board gamer and combat sports enthusiast. He never goes anywhere without at least one book in his pocket and enjoys travelling with his wife Alex, gourmet cooking, and introducing his son to his favourite heavy metal bands.
